Our team is passionate about gaming and web3, and we are looking for a talented Gaming Product Manager to join us in driving the development and success of our games.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Gaming Product Manager to lead the management of gaming studios responsible for developing and producing games, primarily based on our Pixelmon IP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and knowledge in game development, project management, and product strategy, with a keen understanding of the web3 gaming landscape.
What You Can Expect To Work On:
•
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of games developed by outsourced and/or internal studios.
•
Ensure clear alignment between the studio and the MON publisher including but not limited to scope, budget, and milestone delivery.
•
Take ownership of the product lifecycle from concept to launch. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
•
Work closely with studios to contribute to game design, ensuring that our IP is represented with full integrity. Provide input on gameplay mechanics, storylines, and UX.
•
Partner with marketing and operations teams to develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies, live operations planning, and community engagement initiatives.
•
Maintain high standards of quality for the game and implement clear processes for testing, feedback collection, and iterative improvement.
•
Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to derive insights in shaping product strategy and identifying new opportunities.
Requirements
What You Need to Succeed
•
At least 3-5 years of experience in game development, preferably in a product management or producer role.
•
Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
•
Bilingual in Korean and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
•
Mobile and willing to be located on-site with game studio studios we work with
•
Understanding of web3 technologies, blockchain, and NFTs is a plus.
•
Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing external teams and vendors.
•
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
•
Passion for gaming and an in-depth understanding of gaming communities and player engagement.
•
Legal right or visa to work in Seoul
